BMWs are OKAs long as they're not:
- An E36 (the 3-series from 1991 to 1998). They're all monumentally shit in every way imagineable
- 4 cylinders. A BMW should have a straight 6, a V8, a V10 or a V12. The others are no better than any other car, and in many cases they're worse.
There's other specific cases, but they're the general ones.
