That's what I hit, but I couldn't spell it.
So I wrote "small deer".

As I said, I hit it hard enough in my Series II to break it's legs on the steel box-section that passes for a bumper.

Then I had to kill it by hitting it in the head with a claw hammer.

They're vicious bastards, what with those fangs and everything.
