According to Wikipedia
Espresso doesn't really have that much caffeine in it. A serving of espresso contains about 40mg of caffeine, whereas a normal cup of filter coffee contains about 100mg. So Kaol's lunchtime quintuple espresso today is only the equivalent of about 2 cups of normal coffee.
And my can of Red Bull this morning contained about one cup's worth. It shows that I now drink caffeine from time to time, as I remember the first time I had a can of it I had the shakes for ages (not being a coffee or tea drinker).
Caveat - this is from Wikipedia, so it may not be entirely true.
