@Mrs BinDid your insurance cover the respray? I think most glass cover also includes paintwork if the damage is caused by the broken glass. If not, then I dread to think what your bill was.
Do you know the (alleged) culprits? Perhaps you need some subtle means of inflicting some minor punishment, such as painful death, on them.
