First time - track rod ends. I've since replaced them both for a second time, and one of them for the third time. The last offside one lasted only 7 months, which is about 14000 miles for me. There was something else it failed on too, but I forget what.

Last year it failed again, but I forget what it was for. And I got an advisory note re play in the track rod ends, precipitating the second replacement.

Strangely, neither the bottom balljoints nor even the anti roll bar drop links have yet failed, and the car's got about 115000 miles on it. I have however replaced the strut top bearings twice, and the rear suspension bushes twice too.

It really has been a disaster of a car.
