@himjimThere's only one solution. Get a car that's even more high-powered than theirs and get them on the straights.
That was the philosophy I applied with my car - 400 horses are very useful on occasion, but I see 20mpg if I'm lucky. It's costing me a bloody fortune to fuel, but it's worth it to murder all the piddly little 3-series :-)
