@DiTSomeone posted on here a while back a sure fire way to win at roulette, provided that: a) you have enough money to start with, because your stake doubles each time that you don't win, and b) the house has a sufficiently high maximum bet.
It sounds too good to be true, but mathematically it's perfectly sensible.
Can't remember the details though :(
