OKIt was somewhere between magpie and seagull in shape and size. It was kestrel brown with blue flashes on its wings at rest and during flight, and its most distinguishing feature was a bulbous end-beak which was bright yellow.
It looked like a gull but I could be wrong... the similarity to a magpie made me think it was a Jay but apparently not.
