Incredibly fucking wellAbout three metres, through my patio doors. I thought it was carrying a monkey-nut to start with cos the beak was so odd... and I'd say it was bigger than any Jay I've managed to find in books and online so far.
Unless it was fat on Birds Custard, which would explain both the size and beak :)
