I reckon you could have a great deal of fun with this song.
Let's get this out of the way first: Yes, it's by Chris de Ducking Burgh, the main at the very top of Bill Bailey's scale of evil.
However, it's the most overblown, overproduced, pompous song I think I know at this moment. It's also impressively religious, except for the fact that Chris de Burgh apparently has a direct line to give God advice. This fanmade video is also impressive in it's pomposity, but hey, can't win them all.
I think that, acoustically, a lot of fun could be had in arranging it in a call-and-response style between two singers, one as the narrator, and the other as the voices of God and the Devil.
Also, listen to the damn chorus. Pompous is not the word. Done right, it'd be a fun parody.
Besides, the version in my head is done by Tenacious D with David Grohl returning as The Devil from the Tribute video, but enough of that.
Also, I second Camoflage, truly and deeply.
