Laptops in the garden
Not all that great, acksherly.

I can't actually see what's on the screen no matter where I place it in relation to the sun - except for every single speck of dust, sneeze, pot noodle spray and fingerprint. On the upside, as a result it is now cleaner than when it was new, as I have just spent considerable time polishing.

And when I was setting it all up, I carefully fed my router cable through the window - straight into a bucket of water :( I was worried, but it seems to still be working.

@ Stig - are you sure you're not being maybe a tad too sensitive? Like the other day on here when you asked if you were invisible because nobody greeted you... sometimes people don't greet everyone - it's nothing to take personally... I know I haven't always had replies to everything I post, and I'm sure everyone else would say the same. I think you may be worrying about nothing? Which would be a shame. Just trying to help, and I hope it doesn't sound patronising too.
