I agree with warmfuzzyfeelingI didn't see you say hello to be honest so didn't reply but half the time when I post on Off Topic folk don't say hey back, it's no big deal there's usually 20 different conversations flying about at once. Everyone does it but doesn't mean they're ignoring you.
As for taking putting your cable in a pot full of water...I'm sorry I can't continue I just burst out laughing read that!Hehehe innuendo.
