On the subjectof clothes shopping, I spent hours yesterday looking for a t shirt. You would think shops would be bursting with comedy t shirts, but apparently not.
I had given up as I went past yet another clothes shop but thought ok, one last try.
I was pounced on by a helpful Australian as I went in the door, so I explained that I was looking for a birthday present for a grumpy Scotsman. She looked bewildered but showed me the "novelty" t shirt stand.
Looking through them I was losing the will to live, but then - WIN!!!
As I put the t shirt depicting a blue flag-faced Celt waving a (presumably English) head on a spike with the slogan "freeeeeedom!" on the counter the Australian said "that's actually the perfect t shirt for a grumpy Scotsman..." I KNOW! HURRAH! And thank fuck! No more clothes shops for a while :)
