@TGBSome are, yes. But there are others who (apparently) genuinely feel that they're missing out by not having kids, and get extremely broody.
I know at least one person like that.

Edit - for the record, I do not want kids. Never have.
Further edit. PJM has a good, if somewhat harrowing, story on this very subject which he posted on a QOTW once.
