I was awfuland stretched mine from standard to 11mm in just under two weeks. I think I was getting about a mm a day which doesn't sound much but I did rip it a few times.
I still have my really pretty plugs which is bad as I keep wanting to wear them!

k2 you have tapered bars or hoops that you are slowly supposed to push through further.
