I get the feeling, as only an occasional visitor to the city
that London's transport system would be fine if London's population was only half of what it actually is. But as it stands, it's running so close to the limit that the slightest glitch causes huge delays.

That's how it appears to an outsider at least. Regular users' opinions may be different.
