I once played Lacrosse with a team of Ostriches, the captain of whom was a one-eyed former pirate by the name of Blackwings the Merciless. We played a team comprised of gentlemen Velociraptors from Durban, and thrashed 'em 17-4.
In the clubhouse afterwards we shared port and brandy, while the Raptors sang beach boys songs in a beautiful four part harmony.
