@BobWhile I do slow down and give horses a wide berth when driving, surely it's also the responsibility of the rider to make sure their horse is 'road trained' and of a temperament such that loud vehicles will not spook it. I mean, horses were used in battle not that long ago! It must be possible to get them used to loud noises.
