@rubberduckI heard the same thing about Nursing jobs. Apparently, it's a bit of a myth that there's a shortage of nursing jobs. Doctors, yes, nurses, no.
I've read a few articles where, people have trained as nurses, then had to find employment in other industries because the jobs just didn't exist!
Bizarre....
