Loonyes we are. We still think in "old money" for a lot of things (referring to pre decimal coinage which I'm not old enough to remember) but in metric for others.
I'm 161 cm, which is about 5 foot 3. No idea what the weight is, in stones or pounds.I only know my weight in kilos.
But distance will always be in miles.
