@K26KAbsolutely! This is why I prefer the Co-op bank. They make very little profits (most of which is shared back to the Co-op members) but their business model is stable (so far!). They posted £49m profits in 2008 first half, whilst everyone else was posting huge losses.
I found out yesterday, that the CEO of Lehman Brothers was pocketing $100million whilst he was talking to the Federal Reserve bank for a bailout!
