chart cat
was a minor character who used to frequent the games chart pages of Channel 4's Teletext magazine 'Digitiser'.

Clicking the 'reveal' button would sometimes show what chart cat was thinking. My favourite one of these revealed "me like salt" which made me spit my tea all over the TV screen.

Then, one day, for no apparent reason, he was killed off. The Digitiser writer Paul Rose (aka Mr Biffo) decided that chart cat was to be no more, so a message was left on the charts page. It read, simply:

"chart cat was left out last night, where he died of cold"

My username is an homage to chart cat and to Digitiser itself.
