I have to admit.........the S-Type is a great car (i.e handling, ride quality etc), but the front grille spoils it for me!
The 4.2l supercharged engine is a fine engine! Certainly one of the best engines in the world I'd say. Up there with the Ford GT (lifted from an F-series truck) and the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive (A piece of engineering brilliance).
*Edit* Sam, I DO understand the craze for new cars, provided you box clever.
Find a good third party broker and you can pick up some right bargains!
e.g. Jaguar X-Type diesel sovereign rrp £31K. Broker's price: £25K.
