I for one think giving animals human names is a bit daft
So here's the names of familial cats:

Ewok
Blick
J.J.
Mrs Ploppy
Fluffy Bum
Scully
Dave (the exception, just so we could go 'ello Dave' when he came in the house)

My favouritest ever name for a cat is that mouse-like noise you make when you're trying to attract their attention, sucking air through your pursed lips. It always raised a smile when someone asked what the cat's name was and we'd go 'squeak'
