Time for a question of the day, methinks, let's see how many people answer this thorny one.....?
If you were allowed to pass one (and only one!) law or establish a certain idealogy (i.e a British constitution) what would it be and why? It can be a trivial as you want (i.e public floggings for people who litter) or it can be as grand as you want (i.e Establishment of taxpayer's money to support British jobs and curb imports). Maybe you'd like to see the Death sentence come back?
My answer would be the establishment of secularism. A complete separation of Religion and public life. No more Islamist wanting to wear veils that cover their faces on passport photographs, no more Christians preaching on street corners and no more Roman Catholics trying to blow up abortion clinics. Everyone has the right to their private beliefs? Keep it PRIVATE!
