Evening allNinja was taken in by a single parent and her 7 year old. She was crying her eyes out when they brought him round. "Daddy doesn't love us anymore, and mommy said we can keep the kitten".
They don't have much, and can barely afford any extras outside of rent and bills. I gave 'em the $50 reward, extra kitten food and told them to look after him.
In return, I can go see him every day. They'd even put a collar on him with a new name "Blackie".
Did I do the right thing? At least I know he's safe, and I think I made a little girl very happy.
