Starter: Salmon Gravadlax with a crisp white Sauvignon.

Main: Nothing too frilly: Fillet of Whisky-fed and massaged Kobe Beef (Blue) (16oz), with Pont Neuf, a peppercorn sauce and a glass bottle of Chateau Haut Pontet 1980 (Hey, it's my last meal, what's a £500 bottle of wine between friends?)

Desert: Profiteroles and a snifter of Louis XIII Brandy.

Cheeseboard, of course, accompanied by a chilled bottle of Krug.

And just to top it all off, a pint of Tuborg. ;)
