I've never smokedbut since I bought my first car in 1992, I just did a rough calculation and worked out I've spent about £30k on fuel in the last 16 years.
Which seems like quite a bargain compared with smoking, as I've driven the equivalent of about 13 times round the world for that.
Helluva carbon footprint, mind you.
