I always find them really strange - I just don't adapt well to not having the face-to-face aspect of a normal interview, and as such I've never had any success with them. Most other people don't really seem to have a problem though, and I hope you're one of them.
I suppose it must be a symptom of my crippling undiagnosed Aspergers or something ;)
