Did you know.........that the UK is actually on the Euro? The reason for this is that the UK has 2 armed forces bases in Cyprus and since Cyprus is on the euro, the UK agreed to make the euro legal tender on these bases. Now since the bases are UK soil (under the Geneva convention) this means, that the UK has 2 official forms of currency, the UK pound sterling and the Euro.
What make all this extra inane, is the fact that I recited all of this from my own memory (no websites were used). This includes the "Geneva convention" part.....
Why am I still single......?
