I can't help you there I'm afraid but a few folk were talking hostels, the ones in Edinburgh can be quite cheap.
If I still lived there I'd gladly offer you a room but as it is I'm kipping with a mate. Although he has a huge flat so I could pap him out and get everybody back there...hmmmm.
