@ TWWWhy do people open word / excel to look for files? Did you learn that way originally?
Most of the girls in my office do that, and keep asking whether shared documents are word or excel. Why not just use the explorer / my computer method and see everything in the folders? I've stopped advising this generally though, as it makes me sound like a pedant.
(Not having a go - just curious...)
