You lucky bastardI wish I had a cat now. I've got two Gerbils, and they're indestructible. They're both more than 3 years old now, and they just WILL NOT DIE.
They've survived my little girl throwing them around in their little pink ball, escaped a few times, and I dropped a couch on one of them as I was trying to catch it.
They are quite good for frightening away burglars though, because they fucking stink.
