The results of the Hamstergate Inquiry
Well, the hamster is moving about and although she couldn't use her hind paws when I retrieved her from the jaws of the cat last night, she's able to move about now. Her left front paw is broken and she's got some puncture marks in her flanks, but she's taken food from the twins.
She might need some time and TLC.
The hamster house has these plastic bungs that plug the exits, one of which I found on the floor last night and was obviously the hamster's point of exit. Unless the cat has opposable thumbs (I've checked and he doesn't), then we reckon the hamster pushed it out from the inside.
Chickenlady isinterrogating interviewing the cat under oath.
