To be honest
it doesn't snow much here either. Not any more. We're lucky if there are two decent snowfalls a year now. And they're usually gone in a day or two.

But those of us who are old enough to remember proper winters *coughs* at least have an idea of how to drive in the slippery stuff, so the roads don't tend to be blocked with people having accidents.

Although I do remember once driving home early because of a heavy snowfall and seeing a bin lorry pulling a bus out of a hedge, which was quite fun.
