Also I have no idea what was in the half pint of Awesome but it came around like so

Fetid Mimsy was very very drunk. He had already ordered a soda water shandy - which contrary to popular belief did not contain larger but was half lemonade half soda water. This was the original drink of awesome and was proffered round the group and met with wary sniffs and tentative sips.

He did try and convince me that this was liquid awesome and I should drink more. I declined. More drinks were consumed and Fetid decided he was going to order half a pint of awesome. I - wrongly - assumed this was going to be more soda water shandy but turned out to be a mystical drink of possibly JD, definitely coke and something else.

So we never knew what was in it, which apparently is why it is so awesome and Fetid has stated he will be asking for half pints of awesome in all future drinking establishments.
