Though I must admitthat my parents have been staunch Republicans in the past, over the past four years they've become so disgusted with the Republicans that they're for Obama. So I guess I can't really say that any of us are staunch anything- we just vote for the guy that we think will do the best job.
Had it been, say, Colin Powell vs Hillary Clinton, I would have been voting Republican for the first time in my life.
