the other guitarist and I get through strings so fast that it won't be an issueour double bass player on the other hand is slightly loathe to shell out the £100 necessary to get a new set, particularly as they are only a year old which is in the infancy of the life of a set of double bass strings.
He also doesn't think that new strings will hide the fact that he has a cheap chinese-made double bass ;-)
we have bought our singer a new guitar though, which will improve things no end!
