See, that's the differenceOver here, we don't like politicians much. We vote for the ones we dislike the least. Thus Blair was indeed the lesser of two evils, and he was OK for a while before things went tits-up as usual.
The Americans seem to be much more passionate about their politicians, and actually hero-worship them in some cases.
