Ah, sorry, I may have had the wrong end of the stickI thought the issue was more to do with attracting unwanted male attention.
I don't know...I wouldn't have said you were being out of order, but then it's probably not something to get too worked up about. It's not as if she's doing it to spite you; I presume she just likes the dress.
(Though if it's really that nice then I wouldn't have thought a work do was that much of a special occasion, but there we go...)
