Morning HLTI shall forgive you for ranting at me, seeing as how you have imparted some useful information and also know what you're talking about.
It's still a bugger though. And as I said, why not just hide it in the ticket price, especially if it's a percentage? It doesn't have to be hidden when it comes to divvying up the proceeds behind the scenes.
Perhaps part of this grievance comes from the fact I play at gigs where people pay a fiver at the door. Sometimes less... :)
