Why do they do thatis there something that is so important that it can't wait for 2 minutes.
Hmm... shall I remember the people who fought and died in conditions that are beyond my comprehension so I could live in a free country? No, damn it this is far too important to wait 2 minutes.
Mr Bin worked on the tech help phonelines for NTL when the eclipse happenen in 1999. People phoned up during that!
*edit* I don't have a poppy this year. I've not seen anyone selling them.
I guess that people my age had grandparents who served in WWII. It's more removed from people today.
