I love the US tooand go there frequently.
But the type of patriotism I often see there is somewhat off-putting to me. It's a really gung-ho "we're the greatest country in the world and we'll kick the asses of anyone who thinks otherwise" type of thing.
It's changed since 9/11, although not necessarily for the better.
