www.tallerdetapas.com the food is amazing and not too expensive. Though you will find lovely places if you just wander around, avoid places with tourist menus - if you can.
You should try to see if you can rent an appartment for the few days, it can often be cheaper & nicer than hostels, especially around that time of year, and with a few of ye.
Gaudi's 'Parc Guell' is amazing, and those that are interested in football always like Camp Nou.
The Gothic quarter is lovely to wander around - taking the tour of the city (bus) is enjoyable too...
