Embrace ThanksgivingIt's always seemed to me a time Americans are at their best. As you're part of that now, take the opportunity to spend some quality time with those that care enough to offer you somewhere to hang out.
When I went abroad, I missed my family terribly, but becoming part of the culture really helped.
