Also, I was searching for a link about flic flac valves and found a thing vaguely related only it was talking about gymnastic manoevres compared with the action of heart valves, so I think you're right Clenders... in fact he may well have said flip flow and I misheard him. Which makes me feel even sillier. But he was still acting like he was winding me up... and therefore still deserves to smell of wee.
