I've been readingthe thread of the "Ugly Married People" pictures from the newsletter.
Unsurprisingly the original poster is not the man in the pictures.
They are real people who posted their wedding pictures online somewhere and now they have become an internet Meme.
Both their myspace pages have been found and they are really quite upset, as you can imagine.
I feel a bit bad for laughing now.
