King Kong, when the girl was running barefoot through a jungle and over volcanic rock. Or when she kept getting dropped and he caught her as she fell forty feet, and held her in his hand as he whipped violently about. Or how he stood with her on top of the Empire State Building in the winter in New York with her clad only in a thin white dress, and she didn't so much as shiver.

Iron Man. He beats chunks of steel plate into a suit of armor while standing in a cave, clamps himself into it, blasts through the air and into the sky and has it fail when he's hundreds of feet up, lands in a sand dune and walks away from it.

Indiana Jones. He realizes that an atomic bomb is about to go off, stuffs himself inside a refrigerator, is flung an unknown distance while inside said unpadded refrigerator, and yet somehow he's able to walk.

The jolts any of these characters survived should have resulted in internal injuries ranging from concussions to internal decapitation.

There are drawbacks to knowing something about the laws of physics when watching the movies...
