There's suspension of disbelief
and then there's having to put up with pure drivel.

I can take watching a 50 foot tall ape wander around, even though the laws of physics dictate that he would have to be made of something other than flesh for that- and that landing on the ground from atop the Empire State Building should have resulted in blood and shredded flesh splashing up ten stories on the surrounding buildings as though they had dropped an enormous fur-covered water balloon. I can accept that for the sake of a movie.

But watching Naomi Watts sprint barefoot through a jungle and then tap dance on volcanic pumice? Give me a BREAK.
