I have several books on the go:I'm currently reading "The End of Mr Y" by Scarlett Thomas (who also used to teach chickenlady during one of her numerous degree courses). Well worth a read, it takes some time to get going but it's beautifully imagined and very intelligent. Highly recommended.
I've just finished "The Last King of Scotland", another excellent read and based on real events. I haven't seen the film, but it's hard to imagine it being anywhere near as good as the book.
